How to calibrate?
1. Wash the electrode of the pH meter with pure water (2-3 times), then immerse the electrode in the calibration solution, and adjust the pH value of the pH meter to same as the value of calibration solution.
2. If you want the instrument to be more accurate, you can use two-point or three-point calibration. The so-called two-point calibration is to calibrate with two specifications of calibration fluid, and the three-point calibration is to calibrate with three specifications of calibration fluid.
3. Generally start calibration from 6.86 first, and then use 4.01 or 9.18.
4. After the first calibration, you should gently wipe off the liquid on the electrode with a paper towel, and then perform the next step of calibration to avoid contamination of the calibration solution, thereby greatly improving the shelf life of the solution.
Correction Frequency of PH Meter:
1. The pH meter is always in the working state, that is, it monitors the PH value for a long time, and it should be corrected once a week to ensure accuracy. The calibration is needed only about 3 months for normal frequency use.
2. The test pen is used to detect PH from time to time and should be calibrated before testing to ensure accuracy.
